For over 18 years, parents have trusted me to care for their children’s health here in the Keys. It’s a responsibility I take seriously and when I am elected your mosquito control representative I will take that responsibility just as seriously. I am an 18-year resident of the Keys, a homeowner, and a small business owner. Modern mosquito control is extremely complex and requires an understanding of chemistry, biology, public health, and environmental issues. As a practicing pediatrician with an undergraduate degree in biology, I can scientifically evaluate the new techniques that are rapidly being developed in the industry. In addition to providing pediatric medical care for the majority of the children in the Upper and Middle Keys, I have always been an active member of our community. I have served as Medical Director and a board member for the not for profit Island Dolphin Care organization. I have also served as President of the medical staff at Mariners Hospital and have supported different youth leagues and charitable organizations in the Keys.
