Candidate: Timothy Groulx

Timothy J. Groulx, Ph.D. is a National Board Certified Teacher and a career educator dedicated to the highest quality free public education for everyone. He is a native Floridian who chose Jacksonville to be his home. He has taught in public, private, and charter schools and understands how they work. His experiences in diverse educational settings offer him the benefit of a broad perspective on how best to serve students. As a professor at the University of North Florida, he is responsible for preparing tomorrow’s educators and understands what it takes to be a successful educator, including learning by doing.
