Candidate: Travis R. Walker

I am running to provide a new vision and perspective to our school board. My Four Point Action Plan is: 1. More Accountability 2. Safer Schools 3. Prepare our children for the 21st Century workforce 4. Provide better cooperation with Indian River State College and Florida Atlantic University. My civic involvement includes: Vice-President of the Port St. Lucie Bar Association, Treasurer of the Port St. Lucie Sunset Rotary Club and as a member of St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class 28. I have served as a board member of the Port St. Lucie Planning and Zoning Board, a board member of the Port St. Lucie Area Council for the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce and as a board member of the Economic Growth Team of Port St. Lucie.
