Financial sustainability is one of his top priorities. What little funding that we have in these economic times must be prioritized and spent appropriately without jeopardizing our professional educators, support staff and most importantly the community. 2. Improved school discipline is a must on all campuses. In order for educators to be capable to instruct their students and enable those students to learn, we must begin to enforce the rules we have in place on a more consistent basis. 3. Career and technical education are also a major need of our students and community. Carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, are just as important to our society as the engineer, doctor, lawyer and professional educator. If we are truly preparing our students for the world of work, we have to provide the proper opportunities and training to meet those students\' individual needs. 4. Parent and community involvement is another issue that needs to be addressed. \"Coach K\" believes that it is time to organize and utilize the skills/talents of the people who make this community their home. These people are the true stakeholders in the community. We have lost the public trust, intentionally or not, by always looking outside the community for the \"mystical magical mind\" or person who will lead us to the promised land of quality education.
