PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (Partial List):

03/1982-05/1997 Dale Carnegie & Associates, Inc., Hauppauge, NY Dale Carnegie & Associates, Inc. is an international corporation which teaches communication, management, sales and leadership training. I was an Executive Assistant to the CEO. Functioned as a paralegal and was liaison between the CEO and attorneys representing the corporation. Was an officer of the corporation (Assistant Corporate Secretary). Worked with attorneys on copyright and trademark protection, licensing agreements, related matters and all legal documents relating to litigation. Was a member of a team working on revisions and writing of teaching manuals and course materials. Coordinated the educational accreditation procedure for recognition by an accrediting agency of the US Department of Education. In 1996 I appeared before the accrediting agency and wrote a presentation for accreditation which obtained the highest rating the corporation had ever received. Conducted special projects for the CEO, maintained extensive communication with customers and members of the organization worldwide, and performed a wide variety of administrative tasks for the CEO. Attended all of the courses offered by the organization either as a direct participant or as a volunteer class assistant.

1972-1981 Burger, Lavallee & Lewis, Mineola, NY I worked as a paralegal, was the Office Manager and Assistant to the Managing Partner. Responsibilities included preparation of legal documents for attorneys\' review; handling of residential real estate files including dealing with brokers, banks, title companies; extensive phone and written communication with clients; and supervision of office staff of eight clerical personnel.

005-2006 Greater Charlotte Harbor Group of the Sierra Club My husband and I have been members of the bi-partisan Sierra Club and other environmental organizations for more than 25 years. In 2005 we joined the newly formed Greater Charlotte Harbor Group of the Sierra Club. I was a member of the negotiation team which reached an agreement with Kitson and Partners on the Babcock Ranch litigation.

1974 Republican Club, City of Long Beach, NY Worked with the City of Long Beach Republican Club during campaigns for City Council races. Republicans secured an unexpected victory, capturing a majority of City Council seats for the first time in many years.
