Candidate's Statement

Judge Kristina Mobley is a 50-year resident of Clay County who has served as a Clay County Judge since being appointed by Governor Rick Scott in 2015. She currently presides over First Appearances, Criminal Misdemeanors, Civil Actions, Small Claims Actions, Domestic Violence Injunctions, Juvenile Delinquency, Mental Health Court, and serves on the Elections Canvassing Board.

 

Judge Mobley grew up in a military family in Middleburg and attended Middleburg Elementary, Wilkinson Junior High, and graduated from Middleburg High School, where she was inducted into the school's inaugural Hall of Fame class. 

 

Kristina graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Florida and went on to teach at Tynes Elementary where she was a Nationally Certified Teacher. 

 

She then attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law where she was a member of the Journal of Law and Public Policy and earned multiple Book Awards as the highest ranked student in various courses.

 

Prior to taking the bench, Judge Mobley served as a Judicial Staff Attorney in the Fourth Judicial Circuit.

 

Mobley is a member of the Clay County Bar Association, the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Florida Conference of County Court Judges, the National Rifle Association, the Federalist Society, and serves on the Board of Directors for Alivia Care Solutions. 

 

Kristina enjoys reading, travel, fitness, and spending time with friends and family. Judge Mobley resides in Green Cove Springs with her family and attends the Church of Eleven22.
