Candidate: Robert Alvero

My name is Robert Alvero, and my journey to candidacy for Clay County School Board District 2 is deeply rooted in my escape from communist Cuba. I have a profound appreciation for the freedoms and opportunities America offers. As a father of three children attending Clay County schools, I am fully committed to ensuring they and all students receive the best educational opportunities without indoctrination or premature exposure to adult concepts.

In addition to my role as a father, I serve our community as a firefighter and as a member of the Florida State Guard. These roles have instilled in me a strong sense of duty and a deep desire to give back to the country that has given my family so much.

I am running for the school board because I believe in the power of education to transform lives and communities. My goal is to advocate for policies that prioritize academic excellence, protect parental rights, and uphold the values that make our community strong. Together, we can ensure that every child in Clay County has the chance to thrive in a safe and supportive school environment.
