Candidate: Junius Hill

I am Junius Hill, your 2020 candidate for the South Village CDD seat 4.  My wife, Kathy, and I have been Eagle Landing residents for over 13 years.  We have enjoyed watching our community grow and take shape over the past decade and we have taken pride in participating in the progress of our Eagle Landing community at every opportunity. 

As Eagle Landing continues to grow in 2020 and beyond, steady and competent leadership will be critical to ensure our safety, property values, and way of life.  We have had very good SVCDD Supervisors over the years that have properly steered us in the right direction.  It is my mission to invest my forty years of successfull business experience, along with my passion for the future growth and development of Eagle Landing, to represent all EL residents on the SVCDD Board.

Recently retired as a National Sales Manager with the world's number one medical device (best in class pacemakers and neurostimulators) corporation.  Within my last leadership role, I was able to grow a new cutting-edge medical implantable technology at a double-digit annual growth rate over a 13 year period.  Managing a multi million dollar medical product sector requires a keen business acumen, the ability to recruit, develop, and retain the right personel, and the ability to work cross-functionally with a wide variety of internal and external influencers.  My results, including consistent annual record breaking revenue and numerous corporate awards, are testament to my dedication, commitment to the mission, and sacrifice for success.  

In addition to sales leadership roles, I possess experience as Marketing Manager with another well known major medical corporation and I have had several experiences opening new medical markets with key business start-ups.  Experience gained in the ground-floor opportunity of a start-up demands critical thinking skills and the ability to think outside the box to solve problems leading to success.  My proven business and organizational experience ensures a capable leader will help guide the SVCDD board.  I am ready, willing, and able to bring all of my talents and experience to bear for the Eagle Landing community.

I believe I am in touch with not only the needs of our community but, the prospects and potential of our community.  Having attended most of the SVCDD meetings over the past 13 years, I am aware of where we've been, where we are, and what direction we need to take.  Several years ago, I led the twenty-one  member Eagle Landing Focus Group to conceive a value analysis assessmet to purchase the Eagle Landing Golf Course.  The results of our work added considerable value to the decision making process to purchase our golf course, enhancing the property value of every resident.  The hard work is not done and I look forward to getting deeper involved.  Join me in making Eagle Lanidng the best place to live in Forida.
