Candidate: Calvin Lathan

The US Navy was sending my family to the NAS Jax so in 1995 so we purchase land in Eagle Harbor and started the process of building our first and my wife has always explained "our only house".  We moved in on 1 July 1996 and have enjoyed all that our wonderful community provides.  My wife Glori and I have raised three sons, two were the first 6th class at Fleming Island, Elementary and all three graduated from Clay High back in 2000 and 2003.  

The family officially retired from the Navy back in 1998 after serving for more then 20 years. Since then I have been a professor at a number of Universities and find that I have a lot of time on my hands and now wish to be part of those who help to maintain and continue to improve the Eagle Harbor Community by hopefully becoming the new seat number one member of the CDD.

If elected I will be an active member to ensure our hard earned money is effectively used to both maintain and improve our beautiful neighborhood.  Looking forward to seeing all of you who vote for me at the monthly meetings or hearing from you via my email or cell phone.  Thank you!
