Candidate: Bobby Burkett

Bobby Burkett is a longtime resident of Santa Rosa County.  Bobby worked for Santa Rosa County for twenty-five years.  He started in the Building Inspection Department and holds numerous licenses in the field.  He later transferred to Code Enforcement, and when he retired in June of 2023, he was head of that department.

Bobby loves Santa Rosa County and wants to see it flourish.  We are a growing county, but development can be done a better way.  We need to address our need for more and better infrastructure.  He will be a full-time commissioner and looks forward to serving ALL the citizens of Santa Rosa County.  He will use a common sense approach when making decisions about the issues we are facing now and in the future in our county.
