Born in Wyandotle, Michigan and Married 40 wonderful years to my dear husband David, we have worked together to raise our 3 beautiful daughters. As we now reap the joy of 8 grandchildren, I continue my personal passion and interest in higher and improved education for all children with my entry into the race for the School Board as your representative in district 1.

Dave and I have lived and worked here as successful entrepreneurs in Florida since 1985. As Builders and Real Estate Investors, I have enjoyed many opportunities to give back to the community in the educational spectrum. Formerly, we resided in neighboring Martin County where I worked on a committee for the Florida Travel & Tourism Academy Hospitality program for high school students. In addition to this, I served on the Martin County Curriculum Committee for all of the schools.

And although we have moved from Detroit Michigan many years ago, I remain on the board of an amazing Vocational program 'Drive One' for high school students. The program was designed to help break the poverty cycle for the areas youth. With a continued 100 % graduation rate, students learn the varied skills within the many facets of the auto industry. Here my interest for partnering the Business Industry and community for sponsorship and for the success of the program was fully utilized for empowering employment ready youth in Detroit.

In closing, my varied Business management and Philanthropic experience has prepared me to assist in the oversight on the Palm Beach County school Board for the educational success and more promising future of our valued young people. I look forward to building a stronger well integrated partnership between the Administration, the community, Parents, and Students together. I will work to improve these valuable relationships. My interest and efforts will be to emphasize a strong academic curriculum with the expansion of trending vocational programs to prepare our youth for employment opportunities. I do appreciate any and all support for securing this greater purpose.
