Candidate: Crystal M. Bush

Hello, my name is Crystal Bush and I am running for the office of Dixie County School Board District 1. I have been happily married to Kevin Bush for 25 years. We have two daughters who both went to school and graduated from Dixie County High. I have lived in District 1 for 25 years and have strong family ties to Dixie County. I worked in banking for 15 years. I am employed at Dixie County High School as the Reading Coach Aide. Over the past 4 years I have been the Varsity Cheerleading Coach and the DCHS Cheerleading Competition Coach. In 2010 I took over as the class sponsor for the Class of 2012. I am the current President for the Dixie County FFA Alumni of which I have been a member of for 20 years. I am also a founding member and a current board member of B.A.C.K. Fighting Cancer Inc. LLC which is a nonprofit organization that gives funding to children battling cancer in the tri-county area. Lydia Baptist Church is my home church which I have been a member of for 26 years as well. As you can see I am very involved and committed to the young people of Dixie County. I have seen how things work from both sides, as a parent and now as an employee of DCHS.
