Candidate: FeLinda Langdale

Glades County Residents,

I would like your support in the upcoming election on August 20th. I am running for Superintendent of Glades County Schools. I have been actively involved in the Glades County school system for over 23 years. I worked my way through college to obtain my AA, Bachelor's in Exceptional Education, and Master's in Educational Leadership. I started as a substitute teacher and worked my way up to principal. I have taught students with special needs for 8 years and have been an ESE Specialist for 3 years. I served as an assistant principal for 3 years and as a principal for 5. Additionally, I was a cheer coach for 8 years, boys varsity soccer coach for 5 years, and I drove a bus for field trips, sports, and routes if needed for over 8 years. I have worked with students from 3 years old to 12th grade.

I have been a member of the Glades County Fish and Game Club for over 27 years, serving as the club's secretary for the past 14 years. I have also been involved with the Women's Club, Public Library Advisory Board, Christmas on the Caloosahatchee Committee, and Art in the Park. I am also a member of the BHR MOOSE Lodge.

Every choice that I make will be based on the best interests of our students. They deserve the very best education that can be provided. I feel that I can be that person. I will be their voice. I am committed to improving the quality of education in our community.
