Candidate: Jenn Garrett

Jenn grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and came to Gainesville over 20 years ago as a young newlywed with her husband Tim. The couple fell in love with Gainesville's diverse and creative community and immediately knew they wanted to raise a family here. Jenn holds a master's degree in design with a focus in historic preservation from the University of Florida and creates large-scale art for cities, universities, and private collections throughout the United States. Jenn is running for County Commission to help Alachua County become a better citizen-driven county. Jenn believes that by focusing on infrastructure and improving our county's planning, we can finally fix our deteriorated roads, find solutions for our extreme traffic, and get our county back on track.
