Kevin Lilly has served as Chief Deputy, Nassau County Property Appraiser, for 12 years. During his tenure, he has earned the respect of the staff and his colleagues through professionalism, honesty, and transparency. In this role, he has worked with Mike Hickox, Property Appraiser, to greatly enhance the customer service experience, while providing an equitable tax roll in compliance with Department of Revenue standards. His leadership has resulted in streamlined processes that have reduced taxpayer expense and increased operational efficiency.
Kevin began his career over 30 years ago when he joined the Florida Department of Revenue’s Property Tax Division, where he worked on tax roll compliance and oversight of all 67 county Property Appraiser’s for the State. This experience at the State level, combined with boots on the ground work in the Property Appraiser's office, gives him the unique knowledge and skillset to facilitate the critical services to Nassau County residents.
Kevin and his wife Yolanda have been married for 28 years. Together they live in Fernandina Beach and have two children, Drake and Teal (FBHS Class of 2020 and 2023, respectively). Currently, both attend FSU.
