Candidate: Jeff Gray

Nassau County District 3 Commissioner Jeff Gray has been married to Diana Gray for 30 years, and they have two adult children. 

Jeff began his professional business career in 1987 with global class 8 heavy duty vehicle manufacturer Mack Trucks Inc., which manufactures, assembles and provides transport solutions to 62 countries around the world. Jeff and his family have relocated many times in his career, and he has held many positions throughout his 34 years of employment before retirement, to include Vehicle Manufacturing, Assembly Operations, OEM Parts Distribution Centers, and Logistics Operations Center sites.  

Jeff is a Christian, and he and his family are blessed to have a passion for giving back to his community. Jeff loves volunteering with our local churches across the county to help others. Jeff peviously served the citizens of Nassau County as a Code Enforcement Board member (Chairman) and as a Nassau County Planning Economic Board member (Chairman) and Chairman of the Nassau County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC).

 As Commissioner, Jeff is very proud of the many successes accomplished since 2020 to include reducing the ad valorem property tax rate 3 consecutive years in a row, supporting and increasing  budgets for public safety (Sheriff, Fire & Rescue), enhanced quality of life and quality of place thru fiscal stewardship and leadership, enacting conservation land acquisition management program to protect Nassau County’s clean water resources, major investments in economic jobs infrastructure with economic resources, increased parks and recreation space facilities county-wide, just to name a few.

When Jeff is not volunteering and serving others, he enjoys attending church, boating, working out, and spending quality time with his family and pets.
