Candidate: Stan Bethea

Stan is a lifelong resident of Callahan, on Nassau County’s west side.  He continues to reside in Callahan, along with his wife and daughter.

A great Supervisor of Elections should have a great deal of actual election experience, and Stan has it.  He served nearly two (2) decades on staff at the Duval County Supervisor of Elections office.  For 17 of those years, he held the position of Director of Information Services.  For the last six (6) years of his career, he also served as Chief Elections Officer.

During his tenure as Director of Information Services, Stan oversaw the day-to-day voter registration system.  He also managed 50 successful elections for Florida’s 7th largest county, including five (5) Gubernatorial and four (4) Presidential Elections.  Furthermore, he acted as a Subject Matter Expert resource, in seven (7) specific areas to other Florida Supervisor of Elections offices.

Stan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems from the University of North Florida, as well as election certifications at both the state and national levels.

Stan is an election professional who looks forward to bringing his education, certifications, and experience to serve Nassau County’s voters as the next Supervisor of Elections.
