           My name is Paul J. Wunderlich and I am a dedicated advocate for Key Largo and a first-time candidate for Monroe County Commisioner, District 5. Born and raised in Coral Gables, Florida, my lifelong connection to South Florida was deepened through regular family trips to our Key Largo home since 1972, where I developed a passion for fishing and diving. In 2001, I choose to make Key Largo my permanent home and became actively involved in the local community.

            Bringing a wealth of experience from my extensive career with Monroe County BOCC, where I served as a Road and Bridge Inspector. My role provided me with first hand insights into the developement challenges facing the community and the impacts on the local environment. 

            Driven by a commitment to sustainable developement and improving the quality of life for residents, my campaign focuses on reasonable stewardship of Key Largo's unique ecosystem and community values. As a candidate for County Commisioner, my goal is to ensure the preservation of Key Largo's charm and vitality for generations to come.
