I represented Monroe County in the Florida House of Representatives for 14 years and was twice selected by an independent panel as the Most Effective Member of the 120 member House. I am an attorney who as a state legislator helped write our state election laws. I am the only candidate who has worked for the Monroe County Supervisor of Elections office. I attended training sessions, assisted with early voting and vote by mail, and worked at a poll in the 2022 Primary and General Elections. I worked for 6 years as a news anchor at 104.1 US1 Radio. My campaign has broad bipartisan support, including the endorsement of Sheriff Rick Ramsay. I will be fair and impartial in conducting safe and secure elections for Monroe County voters.
