Election administration is hard! The work is demanding, and accuracy is required to produce fair, open, and transparent elections. The position of Supervisor of Elections is not for the inexperienced. As the Director of Information Services and Chief Elections Officer in Duval County for the past 13 years, I have successfully managed three (3) Presidential and four (4) Gubernatorial elections. I have the experience to take us from where we are to where we are going as Nassau County grows.

About me:

• Lifelong resident of Nassau County
• Member of Callahan First Baptist Church
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Systems from U.N.F.
• 28 years of service with the City of Jacksonville
• Married to Nancy.  Together, they have a daughter, Hayden

Qualifications:

• Over 13 years’ experience managing 40 elections in Duval County, the seventh largest county in Florida
• National election certification – CERA*
• State of Florida election certification – FCEP†
• Responsible for over 800 electronic poll books, over 250 vote tabulators, and all electronic equipment in 199 precincts and 20 Early Voting sites.
