Candidate: Marian Ernsberger

A native of Florida, Marian “Marina” Ernsberger grew up in St. Lucie County. She attended Indian River State College, and was an aquatics instructor working with the Red Cross, YMCA and Harbor Shores Hospital.

In the late 80’s she was active in many fundraising events hosted by Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs including the St. Lucie County Chili Cook-Off, the Fort Pierce Toyota Hand-a-thon, and the Sertoma Race Club Championship races.

In 1988 she relocated to Broward County where she enjoyed a career in business administration that spanned over 25 years. She worked directly with many business owners in marketing, event production, and account management. Over time she built personal relationships with many colleagues and business owners who are still her good friends today.

As a leader in business the keys to her success included being first to answer the call, being on time, every time and doing what she said she would do.

In 2017 Ms. Ernsberger retired from a multi award winning career with ITEX Corporation. She relocated to Monroe County to live out her dream of being by the sea, in the sea and of the sea.

Her passions include justice for the marginalized, pet population control, and conservation of wild spaces.

Her personal interests include reading history and biographies, watching documentaries, painting, fishing and travel.
