I am excited to run for Marathon City Council because there is work to be done with regard to city fiscal and growth accountability, open and accessible city government, and city beautification.

I plan to review the outdated Marathon City Charter and lend my progressive leadership toward revisions that will align better with where we are and where we want to go as a city. 

I will work hard for the city because I care and because my expertise in running large, successful organizations in the Keys has always reflected that, My knowledge about the challenges the city faces will serve the community well. As a retired newspaper publisher and businessperson, I plan to devote my energies to this important public service.
