  Resident of Monroe County since 1999; from North Carolina; Eagle Scout; Honorable Discharge from the USAR; Graduate Chemist from NCSU and MBA from UNC.

  40+ years experience in the private sector chemical industry, 27 of these with BFI, a global chemical producer and marketer, retiring as corp. president and shareholder in 2008.

  Past Community Service:  USCG Aux, certified HAZWOPER instructor; Sanctuary Advisory Council; Key West Military Affairs Comm. (past president), Monroe County Marine and Port Advisory Comm.; and Key West Chamber of Commerce.
