Since 2004 I have had the honor of serving on the Utility Board. During my tenure I have championed providing energy services in a safe, reliable, affordable, and sustainable manner. Key West is my home and as a Utility Board member (Seat A) I understand we must work together to power paradise safely and reliably, while ensuring excellent customer service at the lowest reasonable cost. As we look to the future, we must work to continually ensure the reliability and security of our power, while balancing the needs of our customers and the environment. I will continue bring my experiences as a lifelong resident of the Florida Keys, educator of generations of local students, and community advocate to the Utility Board to ensure a bright future for Key West and the Lower Florida Keys.
