Candidate: Robert Hamilton

Rob Hamilton is a Republican Candidate running for Walton County Commissioner for District 3 in 2024.

Rob was born into a military family on an Air Force base in Rome, NY. He was raised all across the U.S. with his parents eventually settling down in Miami, Fl. After high school, Rob enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard.

​Rob Hamilton has 20+ years of business and leadership experience, including a strong background in finance and budget. He will bring his experience as a Budget and Communications Specialist with the State of Florida's Clerk of Courts Operations Corporation.

Rob moved to Walton County in 2020 after visiting Defuniak Springs and falling in love with the area. He met his beautiful wife Gabrielle, and lives with her and their 2 daughters (10,11) and 4 month old son. He is a devoted member of the worship team and a youth leader at his church. He has also started a successful gym, as well as a boxing club and nonprofit benefitting and helping youth in our community.
