Candidate: Reginald K Blount

Reginald K. Blount is a former city council candidate and Jacksonville native.   He earned his BS degree in Business Management, a Master's in Public Policy, and a Graduate Certificate in Security, Stability, and Development in Complex Operations from the Naval Post-Graduate School.  Reginald is an Iraq, Desert Storm, Bosnia, and Afghanistan Combat veteran.  He has held a TOP Secret Security Clearance with SCI working in the US Army Special Operations Command. He served on the housing policy council at Fort Knox, Kentucky, and trained over three thousand soldiers and civilians over his more than twenty-nine-year career in the Army. He worked with the department of state, department of agriculture personnel, and various non-government organizations during his 4 combat tours abroad.  He is currently an adjunct instructor, and serves as a volunteer training curriculum writer for the youth mentor program at Biscayne High School.
