Candidate: Brenda Ann Jordan

Greetings,

My name is Brenda Ann Jordan. I am a native of Jacksonville Florida for 40+ years. I am a proud product of the following DCPS schools( George Washington Carver, Northwestern Middle School, William M. Raines High School). I am a stakeholder and buy in for the DCPS public schools stemming from a student, parent, and 19+ years veteran teacher with experience in special education, ESE support facilitator, inclusion, general education, and ESOL.  Currently, I have revisited my passion in working with the mental health children/adults as a case manager on a part-time basis. 

My education background entails earning a BA in Business Administration from Edward Waters College. I attended University of Phoenix earning a Master's degree in Business Administration and shy of 2 credits in receiving a second Master's degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction. Last, I am at the end of earning my doctoral degree in Transformational Leadership with Specialization in Education Leadership from Concordia University (pending review of my dissertation research from the committee before signing off on my work to be published worldwide).

I am an advocate and humanitarian for all people. They call me the resource lady because I know how to work through complex situations and getting the job done. My goal is to look for creative ways that are strategic and cost effective in regards to help build up communities, education, and all people throughout the various societies.
