I am an engineer by training and occupation.
I have a graduate degree in Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
I have a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of North Florida.
I am a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida.

I was in private practice as a consulting engineer for a number of years advising  Federal Government, School Boards, US Army bases, Air Force bases and US Naval Air Stations, among others, on energy conservation related projects. I retired from JEA a few years ago as their Energy Conservation Engineer.

I am a long time resident of Duval County. I have a small family. My son was born and raised in Jacksonville, graduated from Stanton High School, Florida State University and the University of Chicago Law School.

I am a man of science, a goal driven no nonsense person.

If I am elected, my focus would be to educate school children an appreciation for our natural resources and seek public/private partnership to clean up St. Johns river including reducing/eliminating raw sewer effluent discharge into the river. I will work full time with my commitment to serve the Duval County Soil and Water Conservation District.
