Candidate: James A. Moser

My name is James Moser.  I am a native of Jacksonville and I graduated from Terry Parker High School. I am a Navy veteran in which I served at the Naval Academy and at Pearl Harbor.  I have been a teacher in Duval County for 26 years and I see problems that need to be fixed. I have taught on the Elementary, Middle, and High School level including Stanton College Prep.

We need to work on student accountability in regards to attendance and discipline.

We need to work on improving the working relationship between teachers and administrators so they will be able to work together in a positive way to improve our school district.

We need to raise the salary of the teachers in Duval County in hopes it will bring more people into the teaching profession.

We need to add elective classes that students will be more interested in taking and which will help them out with there future plans in life.

We need to work on improving communication with our wonderful parents and work with them in a positive way.

We need a School Board member that really knows this school district and that person is me. Please vote for me so we can make the changes that are needed to bring improvement and positive changes to our school district.
