Candidate: Frank Conklin

As a resident of Key Largo since 1977, and a long-time volunteer with the Volunteer Fire Rescue Department, this is my heart. I’m running for Key Largo Fire Rescue & Emergency Services Commission Seat 2 to ensure that the residents and visitors to our Special Taxing District are provided with the best available rescue services at a lower cost.

I’d make certain that both the fire and ambulance corporations are fiscally responsible with tax payer’s money. I’d look to identify any redundancies within both operations and that they're funded to run smoothly. I’d work hard to bolster a strong community presence with fire and EMS services at its core.

I’d advocate volunteerism by creating a safe and productive work environment and promote the core values that drives each and every firefighter and paramedic to do what they do.
