Candidate's Statement

My name is Robert Barrios and I am running for the Key West Utility Board Seat D.  I represent over 28 years of Institutional Knowledge.

·         Born and raised in Key West

·         Have lived in Big Coppitt Key since 1995 with my wife Tanya and daughter Taylor

·         Currently the Practice manager at a local accounting firm

·         Worked at City Electric/ Keys Energy Services (KEYS) from 1988 to 2016 (retired)

While at KEYS, I was a meter reader, worked in generation, customer service, engineering, purchasing and finished my last four years as the Safety & Risk Officer.

I am very familiar with the daily operations, the infrastructure and our customer needs.

Knowledge is Power and with your Vote, I will bring my Knowledge to the Board.
