Candidate: Sue Woltanski

She has served on multiple committees in the Monroe County School District, including Audit and Finance, as a charter school board member, and on multiple School Advisory Councils.  She is the founder of the grass roots effort Minimize Testing Maximize Learning and writes the education blog, Accountabaloney. For the past two years, Sue has focused on legislative work, supporting public education, with Common Ground, a bipartisan working group of education advocates from across the state and the political spectrum. Sue is running for Monroe County School Board District 5 because she believes public schools are our community's most valuable public asset and wants to ensure that high quality, safe, public schools exist for your children, your grandchildren and our entire Keys community.
