Candidate: Sophia Jackson-Grandison

Sophia Jackson is a native of Gadsden County, attending Gadsden county schools and graduating from Chattahoochee High School. She is a wife and mother of 3. Mrs. Jackson has a Bachelor in Business Administration and Organizational Management as well as Masters in Business Administration. Sophia Jackson has many years of state, county, city and government employment which has made Mrs. Jackson feel the need to provide support and a Voice For The Citizens of Gadsden County and District III by running for County Commissioner. Sophia Jackson believes that the county belongs to "The People" therefore the Commissioner of choice should work for the citizens. 

With over 20 years’ experience in : Infrastructure, Veteran Affairs, Housing, Budgeting, Substance Abuse Counseling, Education, Senior Care, Purchasing, Procurement, Social Service and Law enforcement she is by far a great Candidate! Mrs. Jackson believes that if "you see something that needs to be done; then do something to make it happen".  As a citizen of Gadsden County and District 3 it is no doubt that, she has had hands on experience with working in the community. For over 2 decades, Mrs. Jackson has provided services to the community and has been recognized by several businesses and organizations for her unwavering, selfless service.

*Internet Services for all households

*Community Partnerships with Non-Profits

*Senior Services such as meals on wheels and transportation

*Weatherization for housing needs and repair

*Increase in wages for city and county workers

*Build a partnership with Gadsden County Schools to help enhance the lives of all students

Sophia Jackson is and has always been about Action, her goal is to not be a seat filler or a name on a sign, but A VOICE for ACTION and move the county forward by working for the citizens of District 3!
