RUN FOR OFFICE

Vinson advocates for public education, including K-12, STEM, and career technical education, grounded in a meritocracy. He is a serial entrepreneur with unwavering social commitment and a firm believer in the essential role of quality public education in identifying and developing latent talents among middle-class students. He believes that such education is the best enabler for ordinary citizens to break the glass ceiling and advance from classrooms to board rooms. Vinson is genuinely concerned about the decline in public school education standards and political indoctrination in schools across the country under increasingly liberal school boards.

Vinson ran for Fairfax County School Board as a Republican endorsed candidate in November 2019. Though he lost the election in the heavily Democrat Fairfax County, he ran an excellent countywide campaign that brought much-needed attention to the various issues in public schools across the nation. His campaign was based on three foundational principles: Academic Rigor, Fiscal Prudence, and Parental Rights. Ideas that he boldly promoted during his 2019 campaign soon became mainstream talking points and contributed to the incredible Republican gains in Northern Virginia in the 2021 elections.
