Candidate: Cameron Fuqua

Cameron Fuqua is a highly qualified and experienced political candidate running for City Council of Parker, Florida. With a diverse background of knowledge and experience. Cameron is well-equipped to lead Parker and make it a better place for all its residents. An Air Force Veteran, a certified BBQ judge, and a local youth soccer coach, Cameron has a long history of community involvement. He is currently a member of the Panama City Chamber of Commerce and a coach for Bay United Soccer Club where he has funded a robust scholarship program for numerous local youth athletes.

Cameron has a wealth of professional experience as well. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Northern Iowa. He also earned his Juris Doctorate from Florida State University, where he served as a mock trial judge, earned a business law certificate, and was a member of the entertainment and sports law society.

He began his career during law school as an intern for the Florida Department of Management Services, where he gained critical insight into the operation of State Agencies. He also worked for the Florida Innocence Project and was instrumental in the evaluation of dozens of potential exonerees. After that, he worked with the international law firm of Foley and Lardner, in their Government & Public Policy Division, with a primary focus on government procurement. Prior to moving to Parker, Cameron owned and operated his own multi-practice litigation law firm throughout the state of West Virginia and Florida, helping various businesses and individuals in numerous litigation projects.

Cameron has the experience necessary to lead Parker and make a positive impact on the community. He is committed to serving the people of Parker and is ready to bring his unique combination of experience and dedication to the role of City Council.
