Greg Brudnicki has dedicated his life to serving his community. Greg was raised in Panama City and at an early age learned the importance of hard work, honesty, and integrity.

In 2011, Greg was elected as the Mayor of Panama City, a position he has held since that time. During his time as Mayor, he has led initiatives that have transformed Panama City, including the revitalization of downtown, the development of new parks and recreational facilities, and the creation of new job opportunities (SweetBay, Bay City Point). Greg’s leadership was instrumental in the recovery of Hurricane Michael, Hurricane Sally, two rounds of Covid-19, and Northwest Florida’s largest wildfire.  Panama City is aggressively making strides to recover from Hurricane Michael and by using state and federal resources we have been able to secure over $ 400 Million dollars that will improve our roads and infrastructure, our quality of life areas including marinas and parks, and make improvements to our stormwater systems across the city.

Greg has also served our community as the President of Kent-Forest Lawn for more than 40 years helping families in one of their most crucial times of need. Greg also served as a bank director for more than 20 years.  His background in business management, accounting and fiscal responsibility which has resulted in him being sought out to serve on a variety of other boards and charity foundations.  He served as a trustee for Bay Medical Center Sacred Heart for 19 years prior to becoming Mayor of Panama City.  He is the President of the Charles Whitehead Foundation and has also served as the former chairman of the board of the Board of the Division of Funeral, Cemetery, and Consumer Services (10 years). Greg currently serves as an advisor to the board of directors of a publicly traded company.

“A city is defined by it’s downtown. We are committed to the revitalization of downtown and soon to be revitalizing Millville, Glenwood, and St. Andrews.”

Greg has been married to his wife Lynn for 45 Years.  They have three children Stephanie, 43, Lauren 42, and Adam 40; and two grandchildren Stella and Alex.  Greg and Lynn continue to live in Panama City where today, Greg continues to serve his community, working tirelessly to help the City of Panama City become the premier city in the Florida Panhandle. His unwavering commitment to public service and his dedication to making a positive impact have made him a beloved figure in the community and an inspiration to all who know him.
