Candidate: Brittany Goodson

Dear Fellow Putnam County Residents,

It is with great enthusiasm that I announce my candidacy for Tax Collector in Putnam County.

Community service has always been a cornerstone of my life. I currently serve on the board of directors for several local non-profits, including Feed The Need, Kiwanis, and the Pilot Club of Palatka. My commitment to our county is lifelong and personal. My family and I are deeply rooted in this community, and together, we share a passion for contributing to its growth and well-being.

In 2017, I earned my Master's degree in Business Administration, which paved the way for my role as Chief Financial Officer at The Arc of Putnam County. In this capacity, my duties extended beyond finance to encompass operations, programs, and human resources. This position provided me the knowledge and experience to oversee several components of an organization.

My vision is to bring innovative solutions and efficient service to our county, drawing on my proven track record in finance and operations management. My analytical skills, coupled with a strong work ethic, position me to address our community’s needs effectively and deliver comprehensive reports to both internal and external stakeholders. I believe in working collaboratively, valuing the diverse perspectives and backgrounds that make Putnam County unique.

As your next Tax Collector, I will continue to serve Putnam County residents by working to find effective solutions to current conflicts and finding better ways to serve you.
