Candidate: Clay Davis

I'm a lifelong resident of Putnam County. I attended Interlachen High School, St. Johns River State (Community) College and the University of Louisville.

I've been employed at the Putnam County Property Appraiser's office for 22 years. I began my career as a field deputy and was promoted to the Supervisor of Deeds, Mapping and GIS in 2005. During my tenure as the supervisor of the department, we have received numerous perfect scores in audits performed by the Florida Department of Revenue to include our 2023 audit.   

I'm a State Certified Residential Appraiser (RD3982), a Certified Florida Evaluator (CFE), and a Certified Cadastralist of Florida (CCF).  

I've been married to my high school sweetheart Teresa Davis (Osterberg) for 33 years. We have two sons, Evan and Carson, and a cat named Miss Kitty.
