I have over 30 years of legal experience as a member of The Florida Bar. I have already served for almost six years as your Circuit Judge. My first judicial assignment was to serve as one of the two Circuit Judges in Flagler County, where I presided over both the Family Law Division and the Civil Division. I always remember that time with warmth and gratitude to the residents of Flagler County.
As a lawyer, mediator, and now as a judge, I have handled numerous complex cases. I have proven through my service on the bench that I uphold the law fairly and impartially. From a very young age, I was taught to treat people with dignity and respect, whether in the workplace, the courtroom, or elsewhere. That lesson has served me well as a judge. If judges do not treat each person who comes before us fairly and impartially, we cannot expect the public to respect the courts' rulings.
Every day when I walk into the courtroom, I am reminded of the responsibility I have to the law and to the people of Flagler, Volusia, St. Johns, and Putnam Counties. I am responsible for serving with honor and integrity on the bench, for upholding the law with common sense, and for not legislating from the bench.
I have been privileged to serve you during the last six years. I would be grateful to have your vote so I can continue to serve.
