Candidate: Michael Schottey

Michael Schottey is a local entrepreneur who loves Palm Coast. 

He understands the blessings and the challenges of raising a family and starting a small business here. Michael has made a career of serving others and is running for Mayor of Palm Coast to serve you and to help build a better City for all of us. 

Michael is the Vice President of Mad Dogs Flag Football of Palm Coast and has coached youth sports in the area for a decade. He’s also volunteered with his church, United Way, Habitat for Humanity and numerous other civic organizations. Michael also serves on the Board of Directors for the Young Professionals Group of Flagler County and leads their communications efforts. 

Michael was raised in Michigan and earned his B.A. from Martin Luther College in Liberal Arts Studies. He is currently attending Park University, seeking his Masters of Public Administration. Michael’s wife, Stacey is a kindergarten teacher at Christ the King School in Palm Coast. They have two young sons, Joshua and Silas. Michael is an avid reader, professional development junkie and sports fan. He enjoys coaching, cooking and spending time with his family and friends.
