Candidate: Sharise V. Riley

Sharise was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida where she graduated from James S. Rickards High School. In 1995, Sharise wanted to broaden herself and decided Jacksonville had a lot to offer and decided to make Jacksonville, FL her new home. She married Harold Riley, a Sailor in the United States Navy in 1997. Soon thereafter, they were transferred to Naval Station, Pearl Harbor Hawaii. After retiring in 2002, the family returned to Jacksonville. Sharise pursued her passion from a young girl for real estate after experiencing disappointment with a home sell and a home purchase. She became a Licensed Real Estate Agent in 2007 and founded her own Real Estate Company in 2010, Concorde Realty of Northeast Florida. Sharise returned to school to attain her Associates Degree and will graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in 2019. Sharise currently partners with the Jacksonville Housing Authority to assist participants of the Self Sufficiency Program. Sharise has served as President of her daughter's middle school Drama Club. Sharise mentors high school students through the Take Stock in Children Program. She also serves on the Finance Committee of the Hidden Lake Homeowners Association, She is a member of NAREB, Democratic Women's Information Network, Black Caucus, Citizens Planning Advisory Committe, Sheriff's Watch, Northeast Florida Association of Realtors, North Florida Civic Association, Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society, a die-hard Jacksonville Jaguars fan and a member of the team’s Champions Club. She loves her family to include a 8 year old poodle and Jacksonville! Harold and Sharise has a daughter who is a junior at UNF!
