Joanne Ribble Candidate Bio - Village of Estero District #1

My husband Bill and I have been residents of Estero in the Colony of Pelican Landing since 2007. Until retirement I was a teacher with a BS degree from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania.  

As a resident of the Colony in Pelican Landing, I have served in various community committees including Landscape, Design Review, and the Unit Owners Committee. Later I was elected to the Pelican Landing Board of Directors where I also served as President. Currently I am Vice-President of the Colony Foundation Board.

My philanthropic experience includes The Kutztown University Foundation where I served as an ambassador in the University’s Capital Campaign.  In Pelican Landing, I served on the Golisano Children’s Hospital Committee and co-chaired the Children’s Hospital Golf Outing in the Colony.  I currently am a member of the Estero Forever Foundation and was on the committee that launched the Inaugural Celebration in February of 2020.
