Candidate: Joseph Tiseo

I have been a resident of Charlotte County for over 4 decades and a member of the first graduating class of Port Charlotte high school in 1984.  I went to Florida Southern College and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1988.  I then obtained my state certified general contractors license and Florida real estate license.  I opened a construction company where I built and operated retail stores for over 30 years.  I have been married for 25 years and have 4 children who all attended Charlotte County public schools.  I was first elected to the Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners in 2016 where I still serve today.  I sit on various committees which include the Metropolitan Planning Organization, affordable housing advisory committee, community action agency advisory board, Peace River Manasota Regional water supply authority and the value adjustment board. 

I have applied my experience to every facet of public service to represent our community to the best of my ability.  Being an elected official and serving others has been the most rewarding and humbling experience of my lifetime.   I have always served my community with honesty, integrity and trust.  Those principles have served me well and I will continue to hold myself to the highest standards that elected office demands.
