OBJECTIVE: Re-election to Villages Community Development District (VCDD) 6 Seat 3

Sumter County Residents:

I appreciate your time and involvement in District 6 governance.  My Candidacy applies to you if you reside in any of the following Villages:

Amelia, Caroline, Edgewater Bungalows, Lake Shore Cottages, Lake Sumter, Largo, Mallory Square, Miona Shores, Sabal Chase, Tall Trees, or Virginia Trace.

Following my unsuccessful candidacy for Supervisor in 2022, I was appointed as your VCDD 6 Seat 3 Supervisor in January 2024.  My selection was a result of: attending all District 6 board meetings (but one) since June of 2022; completing the Residents Academy and all formal training offered by The Villages to Village residents.  Following successful careers in both commercial and military aviation, I’ve been living fulltime in District 6 since 2013.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES:

VCCD 6 Supervisor - King of The Road (KOTR) Antique Car Club - Pasians Club - Vietnam Veterans Association (VVA) - Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) - Freedom Boat Club (Tampa Bay Region - includes Harris Chain of lakes).

My GOALS For District 6:

·       PROTECT and IMPROVE the Quality of Life of District 6 Residents.

·       ENSURE District dollars are spent wisely, effectively, and efficiently.

·       USE democratic processes to ensure allocations reflect District residents will.

·       MAXIMIZE Resident Boards’ control of District resources.

·       EDUCATE District residents of Village governmental issues effecting District 6.
