Candidate: Julian Green

Hello,

I am your current Wildwood City Commissioner for Group 5. I am also the Executive Chairperson of the East Central Florida Regional Planning Committee which meets quarterly in Orlando.  I was raised in the Great City of Wildwood.  I attended the local schools and I continue to have close ties to the area.  I remember when our city had a population of just over 3,000 residents and two major traffic lights.  I am please to be a part of the planned and responsible growth of our City and at the same time keeping our "down home" feel.  I am proud to be fiscally responsible and a proactive member of the City to help lead us into the future.

As your current City Commissioner,  I wll continue to champion responsible growth in the downtown area, at our wastewater facility and with our roadways.  I will always advocate for our resident new and old.

 I am the owner of Pristine Cleaning Services and have been in business for over 14 years. I have had various roles prior to being a business owner among which was Program Director with Devereux of Florida, Operations Administrator with the Department of Children and Families, and Juvenile Probation Counselor. I believe as a business owner I can help my fellow community and my family obtain the American dream.

I am a graduate of Wildwood High School and attended college at Florida A&M University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and Political Science. I am a father of three adult children – two boys and a girl and a grandfather "PaPa".  I have lived in many areas in my life, but we made the decision to move back to Wildwood to raise our young children.

I believe that Faith, Family, and Friends are major influences in my life. I love traveling, playing poker, yard work, and spending time with my many family members. My favorite quote is “No man stands so tall as when he stoops to help a child” attributed to Abraham Lincoln, and I live by the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
