Candidate's Statement
END THE CURRENT IRRESPONSIBLE GOVERNANCE
"CDD#7's LEADERSHIP ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS FAILED TO EXHIBIT COURAGE AND RESPONSIBILITY TO DO WHATS RIGHT FOR TAXPAYERS BEYOND THEIR PERSONAL BELIEFS AND OBSESSIONS"
~($210,000 in Legal Fees)
- CDD#7's Chairman Vicenti exceeded his authority by soliciting the current Law Firm without Board of Supervisors approval
- Vicenti favored a motion to hire the current Law Firm without a formal contract
- $210,000 Legal Fee expenses currently and rising are 6 TIMES over budget and also equal to all CDD's Legal Fees COMBINED
- CDD#7 transferred FEMA reimbursement funds to help fray exorbitant Legal Fees.
~($284,000 Maintenance Fees)
Maintenance Fees were increased due in part to exorbitant legal fees.
~($161,345 loss revenue from PWAC II)
- PWAC II agreement would have provided a much needed additional revenue for CDD#7 residents
- The agreement however needed to be approved by all CDD's
- CDD#7 was the only CDD to reject the agreement
- The PWAC II written agreement was submitted to all CDD's to vote on
- CDD#7's Chairman Vicenti exceeded his authority by not allowing CDD#7's Board of Supervisors to vote on PWAC II agreement
- The residents were denied their voice to be heard
~CDD#7's Leadership continues to lack transparency and has offered no tangible evidence explaining the wasteful-exorbitant expenses the residents are forced to pay.
IF YOU ELECT ME, I PROMISE TO WORK HARD TO:
1- TERMINATE CURRENT LAW FIRM
2- REDUCE RESIDENTS' MAINTENANCE FEES
