  • Primary: August 20th. ( Republican Only ) - General Election: November 5th.
  • Hello, to ALL AMERICAN PATRIOTS of Sumter County! Your VOTE is ESSENTIAL to change, and bring Sumter County Policing into 2025! We must get ahead of the curve on the out of control building & population explosion in Sumter! 
  • The present Sheriff is retiring after 28 years, who also has been on the agency 53 years! ( He registered democrat in 1968, changing to Republican in 2005! ) 
  • The Sheriff has promoted a subordinate to Under Sheriff, who has been a Deputy for 34 years, to have the election advantage! Ironically, ( He registered as a Democrat too, in 1990, also changing to Republican in 2006.! ) ( This political movement by both, appears that they saw the Village expansion as predominately Republican Voters !)
  • DAN SELLS is a " LIFE LONG CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN & Voter", never a doubt on my values as an AMERICAN PATRIOT , voter! 
  • DAN SELLS is an AMERICAN PATRIOT, a CHRISTIAN, who only kneels for GOD, STANDS for THE AMERICAN FLAG of THE USA, ( ONLY ) along with FAMILY as PRIORITIES !  My campaign to be your next Sheriff is not about being a POLITICAL CANDIATE, but it's about SAFETY for citizens, service and the FUTURE of SUMTER COUNTY !   • DAN SELLS offers " STRENGTH BEHIND the BADGE" with FORTY-FOUR (44) YEARS of TRAINING, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE in Law Enforcement, and DEDICATION to PUBLIC SERVICE. Also, SIX ( 6 ) years of Military Service,  ( Air Force & Ohio National Guard, with ( 2 ) Honorable Discharges.
  • DAN SELLS will be a TRUE, CONSTITUTIONAL Sheriff, leading the Agency & Citizens, to a safe place to work, live visit, and have " TRANSPARENCY " which includes an " OPEN DOOR " policy to Communicate with the SHERIFF !
  • DAN SELLS was a Sworn Police Officer, for a major Police Department in Franklin County, Ohio. Also, Vice President of the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #9 in Columbus, ( Franklin County ) Ohio, which included over Four ( 4 ) Thousand Law Enforcement Officers. 
  • Also,  a Patrol Deputy Sheriff, for Franklin County, which is the LARGEST Sheriff's Office in Ohio.
  • I transferred to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, ( Orlando, Florida ) which is the FOURTH ( 4th. ) largest Sheriff's Office in Florida, retiring with 38 years,  ( Forty-Fours ( 44 ) years overall . 
  • DAN SELLS is a Christian Beliver, who will Manage the Sheriff's Office with Conservative Values, strong but fair leadership ! I will PROTECT the Citizens, visitors and all others with RESPECT, but, will be Diligent in enforcing the State laws & County ordinances against those who CHOOSE to be in violation, especially the CRIMINAL ELEMENTS that enter Sumter County !
  • DAN SELLS is " NOT FOR SALE" as a Candidate, but will accept your support by spreading the information about my background and voting for me, on August 20th, and November 5th.!
  • My major opponent has received donations over  ( $100,000.00 ) dollars from: Attorney's, Sheriff's Employees, and Business's !  Although those donnors are legal, It's my opinion, that policy is UNETHICAL for me as I don't accept local donations !
  • I'm asking YOU, is there an immediate CHANGE needed in Sumter County, like there is in WASHINGTON D.C. ?  If you do believe in change, for the people and by the people, then I'm asking for your vote, for PROGRESS and CHANGE in SUMTER!
