Candidate: Russell Alan Turner

I am Russell Alan Turner, I was in the United States Air Force from April 1976-April 1980 as a Weather Equipment Specialist as well as a member of the 5th MOB as a tactical weather equipment specialist. In 1978 I received a Citizenship award as well as a few ribbons.

I worked at Scientific Atlanta as a temporary electronic technician from 1981-1982. I was hired permanently 1982 until 1997 as a Systems Engineer/Technician. There I received 2 awards for improving products and processes.

I worked at Turner Broadcasting from 1997 to the end of 2014. Took an early retirement 2014.

My wife and I started visiting Eastpoint and after stays got longer and longer we sold our place in Georgia and moved here permanently in Jan 2020. We love the beauty, the people, and community spirit. Eastpoint is a great place to live.

I am married to Dona Turner, we have 4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren on the way.

We attend Fellowship Baptist Church.

We volunteer at Franklin Promise food center.

I am a member of the Eastpoint Civic Association.
