Candidate: Joe Brown

Hi Everyone,

My name is Joe Brown, and I am a candidate for Mayor of Lynn Haven in the upcoming April municipal election. The city has been through a lot in the past 2 years, a category 5 hurricane, allegations and investigation of public corruption, and Covid-19. Despite all of this the City of Lynn Haven has been moving forward and has a bright future. We are regularly seeing new businesses opening, increased construction of housing, and new families moving to Lynn Haven. We must continue to be looking forward and continue to grow while maintaining and enhancing the things that attracted us to Lynn Haven originally. A first class school system, police and fire protection that is constantly working to make our city safe, and safe neighborhoods where we can raise our families.

Leadership of our city by the elected officials and city staff must continue to be forward looking by joining with other municipalities, county, and state leaders and agencies to work for the good of Lynn Haven and all of Bay County. With over 20 years of experience as an accountant, auditor, investment manager, and finance director in local and county government I believe that I can effectively lead this city as we continue to recover from the events of the past 2 years and look to continue growing and working together in the years ahead.

I would appreciate your vote on April 20 as we continue to move our city forward.
