Candidate: Brian Dick

Hello, my name is Brian Dick. I am campaigning for the Lynn Haven City Commissioner Seat 4. I have lived in Panama City since 1979, I am a veteran who served in The U.S. Navy. I have a BA from Kaplan University, and a current member of the Board of Adjusters for the City of Lynn Haven. As a long time resident in Bay County, I have seen all of the changes that have taken place over many years. My family has owned and operated businesses across Bay County. Some might remember the Ice Cream Cone on Cove Blvd, the Howards Motel and Panama Palms Motel on the Beach. 

My wife Luisa, and I revere Lynn Haven as a beautiful city with small town feel, and it hurts to see how our City has suffered the down times lately, especially after the storm. But what matters the most, is that now we are on the verge of rebuilding our City to be better than it has ever been before. This is why I am asking for you to allow me to be YOUR voice in this process, to work tirelessly with all my dedication, honesty and integrity to contribute to the solution of the issues our City has, like stormwater drainage, debt, lack of industry to name a few. I also would like to start a process of strategic planning, not for a short-term, but 15-20 years from now. This will be our legacy to the new generations. Inspire them to have the sense of belonging to always pursue different ways for the continuous improvement of our City.

Voting for me is voting for solid moral values, strong ethics, someone who thinks globally but acts locally, with an infinite willingness to serve in order to see the City of Lynn Haven emerge to be one of the best if not the best City in Bay County. As a Commissioner, I will represent the residents and promise to do what is best for the growth and improvement of our City.
